Aja’s Hi5-3D converts HD-SDI/SDI signals into HDMI. Plus, it merges the audio from a SDI source to the HDMI signal, so just one single cable can be used. It has an additional SDI loop output and two RCA audio outputs, guaranteeing an independent monitoring. It can be set from any laptop (iOS or Win) thanks to its USB connection, and each input signal can be flipped horizontally, vertically or both at the same time. One of its most interesting features is that it supports the 3D modes ‘side by side’, ‘top-bottom’ and ‘frame packing’.  This is possible because its two HD-SDI/SDI inputs allow to assign corresponding signals to the left and right eyes. Its reduced size and weight make this mini converter a very efficient device for events.
